The story of Technitune starts many years ago. From a very early age, Adam Petronaitis was always interested in computers. His passion for how things work and love of puzzles when things don't work kept him on the path to becoming an IT expert.

Starting in 2003, Adam started building computers for friends and a small group of customers. He used only the best components as he saw many problems in systems that other businesses had built using cheaper components to create a higher profit. In particular, memory and power supply failures. He saw that the difference in price between a good quality product that will last over 5 years and an inferior product was in most cases as little as $20. Other issues were lack of memory to begin with. Most businesses to this day still make the same mistakes for the sake of profit!

By 2005 Adam knew for sure that starting his own business was the only way he could be happy working around computers, as he had seen too many cases of silly mistakes and inexperience elsewhere and knew he would never feel right working in such an environment.

In 2008 Adam was asked to join an ambitious up and coming computer business in Tamworth as their main technician. Adam was considered to be an up and coming threat to them and they wanted him to join them. Adam declined their offer, despite being offered higher pay than he was making at the time and the company eventually closed its doors providing Tamworth IT support in 2010.

2010 was a time of major expansion, with David Cullinan coming on as a technician following the increased demand.

In 2011, Technitune performed a quick tuneup on a computer that Adam had built in 2004. This system and many others like it are still working today thanks to the quality components chosen at the time!
